I have heard so many people say that motivational speeches and articles are scam. They think it makes you falsely believe that you can build castles in the air, and other seemingly impossible things. You might be right in your own way but I think we might have a little misunderstanding here. Let me explain;
Sometimes in life we are faced with great tasks, we have great decisions to make and steps to climb, great steps that will take us to a different level in life. But the power of fear is always there to present itself. There is always this feeling of self doubt and inferiority in self esteem. At this point you tend to doubt your abilities and potentials. But then, all you need is a little push to get you going on this journey, a little bit of body shaking to make you begin to climb those steps to greater heights.

This is where motivation comes in, it gives you that required push and shaking of the body. You need something to get you assured that you are able to achieve your goals and that is the place of motivation. It is never a scam or deceit.
We get it all wrong when we believe motivational articles will solve all our challenges, NO! You don’t just fuel a car, ignite the engine and allow it to drive itself to the right destination. You need to control your steering, use your break pads and gear levers when necessary (mind you the journey of life is not an automatic drive). Don’t just depend only on motivation, ask questions when necessary, make researches and apply your strategies appropriately.

And one more thing, you don’t fuel a car, ignite the engine and allow it, you still need to remove your gear lever from the packing option, hit on the DRIVE spot. Don’t just read motivational articles and get satisfied while folding your hands in relaxation, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆. Get up and hit the drive option. You’ve slept and relaxed enough, hit the road and begin your journey to goal getting.
Motivation is never a scam but it is still not enough. You need to do more to attain your goals.
